Complying with rigorous quality and environmental standards, our Cactus Leather BIBYLON® is a cruelty-free alternative to leather without any toxic chemicals, phthalates, BPA and PVC.

Our Cactus Leather is derived from the Nopal Cactus - harvested sustainably by only cutting mature leaves without harming the plant, ensuring a new harvest every 6-8 months.

It thrives on rainwater and earth minerals, eliminating the need for irrigation. After cutting, it naturally dries under the sun for three days with no additional energy used in the drying process.

Our focus is on longevity of materials avoiding the need for multiple bibs per child through staining, odour retention and general wear and tear. 

The distinctive composition and robust structural integrity of our cactus leather not only guarantees maximum stain resistance but also contributes to its longevity establishing it as an advanced, sustainable, and enduring choice.

Each BIBYLON® is constructed with high-tech thread made from recycled materials - The raw material used for our environmentally friendly sewing thread is provided by recycled bottles.

Recycled plastic bottles are washed, turned into flakes then melted down and turned into microfilaments.

Each BIBYLON® is handcrafted.

With every BIBYLON® made in our South London Studio, we reduce our carbon footprint by removing the need to import our finished product into the country.

At MUKO, we maintain absolute quality control by exclusively making every BIBYLON® in-house, eradicating any ethical ambiguity in the supply chain linked to third-party producers.

For every BIBYLON® ordered we will be planting a tree.

Every element of our packaging is considered through the lens of our environment.

Our packaging stickers use only soy-based inks, made from FSC-certified, acid-free, lignin and sulphur-free pulp, which compost without leaving any residue behind.

The tissue paper we use will fully breakdown in a home compost system within 180 days, with our gift wrap gifting nutrients back to the earth.

Our postal boxes, crafted from recycled materials, are 100% recyclable and produced in the UK, sealed with tape composed entirely of recycled materials.

Due to our small batch production model your order may take 3-5 days to dispatch.

Please allow 8 days for dispatch on made-to-order “Personalised” and “Bespoke” MUKO products.
